About us

Energise Engineering was set up in April 2002 to assist with the design, development, installation and maintenance of renewable energy and energy efficient systems.

Its aim is not to compete with the big energy companies or manufacturers but rather to provide help and support to home owners and small to medium businesses and institutions in this rapidly developing sector. A sector which needs support and encouragement.

Our work to date has been predominantly with solar-thermal projects and modern heating technologies, ranging from small domestic dwellings to large scale sheltered community heating projects and hotels.

However we also work with solar-electric (PV), wind, ground source heat pumps, under-floor heating and CHP technologies to reduce or eliminate our ever increasing usage on conventional and CO2 producing fossil fuels.

Our aims, working methods and principles

Our aim as a business is not just to be driven by the finances of a project, but also by the long term energy efficiency and life cycle costs of an installation. This is a challenge in itself as it is difficult to compare different fuel sources like for like due to the very different ways in which they are costed, and by whom.

We combine existing technologies with developing ones to progressively reduce the impact we are having on our precious environment and put additional effort in to do this at all stages.

We believe in treating people fairly. This applies to our employees, contractors and suppliers as much as it does to our customers.

Material usage and waste is kept to a minimum. We recycle materials where possible and use components and processes where practicable that are sympathetic to the environment.
